Moderated by vdp: The digital marketplace for the Pfandbrief community
Euro benchmark issuance may have eased during the pandemic, but fiscal and monetary policies have supported the Pfandbrief’s quality and afforded issuers attractive alternatives.
The German product is well positioned as the world emerges from the crisis, according to participants in the Covered Bond Report Pfandbrief roundtable, held earlier this summer in association with the vdp.
Neil Day’s distinguished panelists were Timo Boehm, Pimco; Vessela Krmnicek, Fitch Ratings; Götz Michl, pbb, Jens Tolckmitt, vdp, and Thorsten Walz, Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, as well as Bodo Winkler-Viti, Berlin Hyp AG.
