Thomas Hofer

Thomas Hofer has been with the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp) since 2003 - in the meantime he worked for its subsidiary vdpResearch. Since 2019 he has been head of the vdp's Domestic Real Estate Market and Real Estate Finance Division. His main areas of expertise include the structure and development of the real estate finance business, the real estate market and housing policy, and macro-prudential regulation. From 1998 to 2003 he was responsible for the IMA® real estate market analysis at GEWOS Institut für Stadt-, Regional-, und Wohnforschung GmbH in Hamburg.
