Silvio Lenk
Silvio Lenk is responsible for Group Treasury at the Deka Group.
In addition to positions at Dresdner Bank, Kleinwort Benson and BHF, he has spent the majority of his professional career working for the Deka Group.
After specialising in controlling, auditing and finance during his studies, he began his career with comprehensive training in corporate banking, later focusing on capital management, credit derivatives and securitisation.
Mr Lenk has significantly shaped the Group’s treasury structures and was centrally involved in major nationwide rescue and restructuring measures during and after the financial crisis.
In his current role, he oversees a broad spectrum of treasury activities — including interest rates, liquidity, FX, spreads, options, capital management and guarantees — and represents these topics in various management committees. He also chairs the Group’s central ALCO. Following the first DLT issuance by a bank, he is responsible for investments in digital fund units, corporate bonds, commercial papers and other digital instruments.
Mr Lenk heads the Treasury Commission of the VÖB and serves on several investment committees across industry associations as well as within the Deka Group.
