Matthias Bourgart

Matthias Bourgart has been head of the treasury department at Kreissparkasse Köln since 2006. As divisional director, he is responsible for the savings bank's liquidity management, refinancing and proprietary investments. In this capacity, he is a member of the Asset/Liability committee of Kreissparkasse Köln and has been a member of the Deutsche Bundesbank's (‘Fachgremium Liquidität’) since 2011.
Matthias Bourgart has been working at Kreissparkasse Köln since 1999 and in treasury since 2002, where he has been responsible for setting up the Pfandbrief issuing programme since 2003. He is a member of the capital market committee of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks.
Matthias Bourgart has a degree in mathematics from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn.
