Carmen Munoz

Carmen Munoz is a senior director in the Structured Finance and Covered Bonds Criteria, Analytics and Research Group at Fitch Ratings. With a global focus, she produces sector-specific special reports, coordinates the annual review of Fitch’s Covered Bonds Rating Criteria and coordinates training for analysts. In 2019, she formed part of a four-member working group that developed Fitch’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) approach for Structured Finance and Covered Bonds. Prior to joining the covered bonds team in 2013, she was the country director responsible for the coverage of Spanish banks. She participated in conferences organized by the Financial Stability Institute in relation to Rating Agencies and Corporate Governance.
